When you use File Pilot:

• No Data Sharing: File Pilot does not collect, send, or share any data, including your filesystem, file contents, or personal data, with us or third parties.
• Config Files: File Pilot stores configuration files in the user folder to maintain your experience across sessions. These files are not shared with any third parties.
• Crash Dumps and Log Files: The program may generate log files or crash dumps for troubleshooting purposes. These are stored locally on your device and are not sent to us automatically. If you choose to send these files, they will only be used to resolve issues and improve the program.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Process purchases and deliver your license: Your email address and payment information are processed by our payment provider, Paddle, in accordance with Paddle’s Privacy Policy.
• Communicate with you about updates or newsletters: Your email address, if you subscribe to updates, is stored securely in our database. This data is used to send you updates or newsletters, which are handled by Postmark in accordance with Postmark’s Privacy Policy.
• Improve our program and services: Any bug reports, crash dumps, or log files that you voluntarily send via our Discord server are used to troubleshoot and improve File Pilot, and they are processed in accordance with Discord’s Privacy Policy.
